Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms explain how this website and my services work. Please read them before using the site or hiring me.
1. Agreement
By using this website or hiring Jessica Torres Web ("I," "me," or "my"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or my services. Your use of this site is also subject to my Privacy Policy.
2. My services
I provide web design and hosting, brand identity (logos, colors, typography, and visual direction), social media strategy, local SEO, and branded print collateral for small businesses. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for your project will be outlined in a written estimate or proposal.
3. Inquiries and the contact form
When you submit the contact form on this website, your information is processed through LeadScout (getleadscout.io) as described in my Privacy Policy. Please make sure the information you submit is accurate, and don't include sensitive details such as passwords, payment card numbers, or government ID numbers; if I need access details for your project, I'll tell you how to send them securely.
Sending an inquiry doesn't create a client relationship or commit either of us to work together. A project begins only when we agree on a written estimate or proposal.
4. Estimates and payment
- Prices are quoted in writing before work begins. Customization options and add-ons, such as custom web development, may be available for additional fees.
- Payment terms, including any deposit and due dates, will be stated in your proposal or invoice.
- Work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before I begin.
- Late payments may pause work or hosting until the account is current.
5. Your responsibilities
To keep your project on track, you agree to provide the content, images, and information I need in a timely way, give feedback within a reasonable time, and confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you send me.
6. Revisions and timelines
Each project includes the rounds of revisions described in your proposal. Timelines depend on timely feedback and materials from you, and may shift if those are delayed. I only take a couple of projects per month so that each one gets my full attention.
7. Ownership and usage rights
- Once your project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables created for you, such as your finished logo files and website content.
- Third-party items, such as stock photos, fonts, plugins, and templates, remain subject to their own licenses.
- Unless we agree otherwise in writing, I may show completed work in my portfolio, case studies, and promotional materials.
8. Hosting and ongoing support
If I host or maintain your website, I will take reasonable steps to keep it fast, secure, and available, but I can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Hosting and support are billed according to your agreement and continue until either of us ends them with reasonable notice.
9. No guarantee of results
I work hard to help your business get found and grow, but I can't guarantee specific results. Search rankings, website traffic, social media performance, leads, and sales depend on many factors outside my control, including search engine and platform changes.
10. Third-party services
Your project may rely on third-party tools and platforms such as domain registrars, Google, social media networks, and LeadScout (which processes contact form inquiries). Those services have their own terms, and I'm not responsible for their availability, changes, or policies.
11. Website use
The content on this site, including text, design, and graphics, belongs to Jessica Torres Web or its clients and may not be copied or reused without permission. Please don't misuse the site or attempt to disrupt its operation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, arising from the use of this site or my services. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me for the services at issue.
13. Ending a project
Either of us may end a project with written notice. You will pay for work completed up to that point, and I will deliver the work completed and paid for.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
15. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site or my services means you accept the updated terms.
