A great practice that patients couldn't easily find
Lake Oconee Orthopedics already had a logo they liked, so there was no need to recreate their brand. What they needed was a website that worked: one that looked as professional as the care they provide and showed up when people nearby searched for orthopedic help.
Their previous site needed a full overhaul, so I redesigned it and built local SEO into it from the start.
A site that held back a strong practice
The practice was on Wix, which can be a fine choice if you want a platform that does a lot of the work for you. The trade-off is that you lose control of the finer details, and for search ranking, the finer details matter.
Combined with a dated design, the site wasn't doing enough to put each of their services in front of the people searching for them.
Built to be found, not just to look good
Keyword research
I researched how patients actually search for orthopedic care, so every page targets the words real people use.
Separate service pages
Each service, from hand and wrist to knee and regenerative medicine, gets its own page so it can rank on its own.
Schema markup
Structured data helps Google understand the practice, its services and its location.
Page speed
A faster site is a better experience for patients and a stronger signal for search engines.
Clear paths from search to appointment
Every service has its own page and a clear next step, with a consultation form and phone number always within reach. Scroll the preview to explore it.
